PHASE 2: The brief for the second stage of the project is to design a platform for the exterior. It must be
powered by an alternative propulsion system. In this case, the vehicle is powered by 2 micro turbines married
to a single generator which charges on-board batteries providing power to 2 electric motors placed fore and aft
of the chassis.
PHASE 3: This phase of the project is the interior. The controls were designed to accommodate a wheelchair-bound individual. The
motorcycle style controls allows the user to drive a manual transmission because all the controls can be actuated entirely by hand.
With the advent of "drive-by-wire" technology, the vehicle controls can be slid to the passenger side to have a companion drive if
needed.
